Residential Projects Our residential experience ranges from fine custom homes to multifamily and community residential care, and from a children's playhouse to a residence for Navy sea lions. We are accustomed to working in myriad styles of residential design from traditional to comtemporary and prefer to design from the inside out to ensure that the desired furnishings will be appropriately featured and/or accommodated.
Designed to respond to an extremely restrictive site, this 6,000 SF traditional residence features a living room designed to accommodate two grand pianos, a special semicircular makeup area off the master bedroom with a 180° band of windows at counter height and a semicircular two level patio at the rear to capitalize on the scenic creek valley view below. This 5,000 SF contemporary residence was designed to take full advantage of passive solar heating and natural light and features a deck across the entire rear elevation. The finishes include extensive use of quarry tile floors and naturally finished cherry cabinetry.	CUSTOM RESIDENCE

This project was designed for two small children and is adjacent to their parents' residence which was also designed by our firm. The concept for this design was to create a properly scaled down duplication of a Victorian cottage using the colors and materials that related to the main residence.

The playhouse was designed @ 2/3 scale throughout; all materials, furnishings and accessories are proportioned accordingly. The playhouse is constructed of wood framing, cedar siding and shingles, slate roofing, copper flashing, heart of pine hardwood floors, gypsum board and wall covering. It also has 3 custom designed stained glass windows, solid brass hardware, a Victorian brass door chime, brass mail slot and authentic Victorian Gingerbread.
